Founders Chhobyang Singhe and Basudev Boudh began as mountain guides and opened their first hotel in Dharamshala in 2008. ## Timeline

- **1997:** We, the Himalayan Brothers, started our small jewelry business in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, with a passion for offering beautiful stones, gems, and unique jewelry pieces to our happy customers.
- **2008:** Having built a strong and loyal clientele through our jewelry business, we felt inspired to explore a new venture. With excitement and determination, we decided to step into the hotel business and launch our own hotel in Dharamshala.
- **2009:** Hotel Samdupling was built for travelers seeking a cozy and comfortable retreat. With all the essential amenities in place, it offers a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience for a memorable vacation. In our journey to create meaningful spaces, Buddha House was established as a sanctuary for travelers seeking peace and comfort. - **2019:** In the heart of scenic Bairagarh, Chamba, we brothers built Hotel Diwan Sach Pass as a reflection of our journey and passion for hospitality. Inspired by the mountains and the travelers who seek them, we wanted to create a space that feels welcoming, authentic, and affordable—a home for those who wander.
- **2022:** Drawn to the untouched beauty of Spiti, we dreamed of Spiti Villa in Kaza, near Key Monastery. Our vision is to create a retreat where travelers can experience the region’s raw charm, tranquility, and deep spiritual essence.
- **2024:** Spiti Villa opened near Kaza, a charming town in Spiti. The stay there is all the more pleasant since Key Monastery is very close by.
